Rugby World Cup Final

On Saturday 31 October 2015 the Rugby World Cup held in England and Wales drew its conclusion at Twickenham stadium in London. The New Zealand “All Blacks” triumphed over their long standing rivals Australia 34-17 in what was a riveting final.

Tries from Nehe Milner-Skudder, Ma’a Nonu and Beauden Barrett sealed a thrilling victory despite a valiant second-half comeback from Australia, tries from David Pocock and Tevita Kuridrani bringing them to within 4-points 15 minutes from time.

It was a fitting finale to the careers of several all-time rugby greats, no more so than All Black captain Richie McCaw who becomes the first captain to win back-to-back World Cups.
