From 23 October 2015 to 1 November 2015 Quest Guardians teamed-up with Sidmouth International School (SIS) to offer Quest students an English Language Half-Term Programme.
Quest Guardian students received an exclusive opportunity to take part in a one week course involving the opportunity to improve their English Language skills through professional tuition, and a range of fantastic activities in Sidmouth, a rural town in the South of England.
A typical day involved Quest Students attending English tuition in the mornings, taking part in fun-filled activities in the afternoons (optional), before returning to stay with their accredited host families (provided by Sidmouth International School) overnight.
Afternoon and weekend activities on offer included:
- Excursions to Exeter, Cardiff, Lyme Regis, Plymouth and Dartmoor including tours of Exeter Cathedral, Cardiff Castle and the Millennium Stadium, boat trips, shopping and a visit to a national aquarium!
- Paintballing!
- Bowling!
- Ashcombe Adventure Park – including archery and zip wiring
- Sports including watching live rugby match, playing tennis, swimming and golf
- Evening events including barbeque and pizza nights.
Feedback from our students was very positive and Quest Guardians are therefore delighted to announce that they will be offering the Half-Term Programme again, exclusively to students receiving educational guardianship from Quest Guardians, during the February Half-Term: 12 February 2016 – 21 February 2016.
