Fees and Payments

The total of fees and payments fall into three categories:

A Registration Fee of GBP150, non-returnable (GBP200 for Mainland China);
An annual Guardianship Fee: please contact us for further details;
A Personal Expenses Fund of GBP600 (GBP1,000 for students from Mainland China) to cover student expenses, returnable if not spent.

The Quest "Total Care" Service includes:

Acting as legal guardian of your child whilst in the UK;
A carefully selected Host Family is booked and retained for all Exeats and Half Terms
Attendance at one Parents Meeting, to meet teachers, with a report back to parents
Initial meeting and at least one School visit each term with a report to parents;
Arranging host family stays, booking flight and travel tickets, arranging airport transfers;
Arrangements for school uniform and equipment, mobile phone and phone card;
Assistance for family visiting the UK
24 hour Emergency Cover
No mid-year payments, except flights and airport transfers or if deposit drops below GBP200
A maximum GBP50 on return Host Family transfers

The Quest Gold Service includes:

Acting as legal guardian of your child whilst in the UK;
Initial meeting and at least one School visit each term with a report to parents;
Arranging host family stays, booking flight and travel tickets, arranging airport transfers;
Arrangements for school uniform and equipment, mobile phone and phone card;
24 hour Emergency Cover

The Quest Silver Service (unavailable for students under 13 on Sept 1st) includes:

Acting as legal guardian of your child whilst in the UK;
Initial meeting and at least one School visit each term with a report to parents;
Arranging host family stays, arranging airport transfers;
24 hour Emergency Cover

Holiday and Temporary Guardianship

Guardianship cover is effective during the normal school term, and it is expected that students will return home during the school holidays, such as Christmas, Easter and Summer Holidays. It is possible to arrange for guardianship and host accommodation during these times under our Holiday Guardianship scheme.

Sometimes students ask for friends to stay at their Host Family for a Half Term or weekend break. Arrangements must be made through the Quest offices under a Temporary Guardianship Scheme.
