Quest Holiday Guardianship

The Gold and Silver Schemes cover the normal term times for each student. Guardianship for the Christmas and Easter Holidays is included under the Gold Service but there is an additional charge of GBP100 per month for those students under the Silver Service and for all students during the Summer Holidays. Accommodation and transfer charges are also charged as extra.

Quest Temporary Guardianship

Quest Guardians Ltd can act as guardian on a temporary basis for students who have alternative guardians in the UK. The decision to assist is entirely at our discretion, dependent on availability and circumstances. The normal circumstances for such an event are as follows:

1. A friend of a student already under Quest Guardians asks to stay for a Half Term or Term Break
2. A student’s normal guardian is unable to look after them due to unforeseen exceptional circumstances.

In order to act as a TEMPORARY GUARDIAN Quest Guardians will require the following documents 7 days in advance of the event:

• A fully completed Temporary Guardianship Form (available from our office) signed by the student’s parents OR their UK guardian who has Locum Parentis responsibilities delegated to them by the parents.
• Payment in full. The payment is calculated by the number of nights stayed, PLUS our guardianship and administration costs. The current rate for a short stay is GBP50 per night. These prices include accommodation but exclude TRANSFER COSTS which are payable in addition.
